Travel & Landmarks Wall Decals

(18 products)

Travel and landmark wall decals add skylines, maps, monuments and destination-inspired art to living rooms, bedrooms, offices and hospitality interiors. Choose a design that matches the place you want to remember and the shape of the wall you plan to decorate.

Which travel wall decal should you choose?

Design type Good placement Planning point
City skyline Above a sofa, desk or headboard Measure the available horizontal width
World or regional map Office, study or travel wall Check whether borders and labels are included and readable
Landmark silhouette Entryway, bedroom or feature wall Leave enough negative space around the monument
Compass or journey quote Hallway, studio or compact wall Check orientation and reading distance

How to size a skyline or map

Measure the clear wall area and compare it with the installed dimensions shown on the product page. A wide skyline normally works best when aligned with the furniture below it. For a map, consider the smallest details you want to see from the main viewing point.

Use removable painter’s tape to mark the proposed boundary. Room images are presentation examples and should not replace measurements.

Surface and installation guidance

  1. Choose a clean, dry, smooth and firmly painted surface.
  2. Allow newly painted walls to cure fully.
  3. Mark a level reference line for long skylines, text or map sections.
  4. Arrange separate elements before removing the backing.
  5. Apply gradually and follow the listing instructions for transfer film or panels.

Travel and landmark decal FAQ

Can I order a decal of a specific city or country?

Customisation depends on the product. If the destination is not shown, contact Decords with the city, landmark, required dimensions and preferred style before ordering.

Are maps supplied in one piece?

Not always. Large or detailed maps may be supplied as separate elements or panels. Check the individual listing for the exact format.

How do I keep a long skyline level?

Mark a horizontal guide with a level and low-tack tape before application. Position the complete design first, then apply it section by section.

Can I add names, dates or a travel quote?

Choose a listing that explicitly offers personalisation, or visit Custom Quote Stickers for text-based options.

Where does Decords produce and ship its decals?

Orders are manufactured, normally within 1–3 working days. Free worldwide shipping is available.
