Care and installation requirements depend on the material and intended surface. Follow the product description and the instructions supplied with the order.
Before application:
- Use a clean, dry, stable and fully cured surface.
- Follow the paint manufacturer’s curing time. Paint that feels dry may not be fully cured.
- Test a small, discreet area when surface compatibility is uncertain.
Installation and cleaning:
- Apply without stretching the material and smooth it gradually.
- Some products can be repositioned during installation. This does not mean they can be stored and reused later.
- Use a soft dry cloth, or a slightly damp cloth only when the product instructions allow it. Avoid abrasive tools and strong solvents.
Removal:
- Lift an edge and peel slowly at a low angle.
- Use moderate warmth only when the product instructions allow it.
- Stop if paint, wallpaper or the underlying finish begins to lift.
Residue-free or damage-free removal cannot be guaranteed for every material, paint system or surface condition.

Description
This physical custom frosted glass door decal is cut from self-adhesive frosted-effect vinyl with the topographic line design shown in the product photographs. It creates an etched-look graphic on compatible smooth glass without chemically etching, engraving or sandblasting the surface.
Choose the material option
The product offers two existing material choices: Regular Etch Glass and Heavy Etch. These names identify the listed vinyl options; they do not mean that the glass itself will be etched. Confirm the intended interior, exterior-adjacent, wet-area or high-temperature environment before ordering because suitability depends on the exact glass, coating and exposure.
Choose a listed width and send exact dimensions
Available sticker widths are 16, 20, 24, 28, 31, 35, 39, 43 and 46 inches. Select the listed width that can contain the required finished design, then send the exact usable glass width and height, the preferred orientation and the required placement of the topographic lines.
The selected width is not the complete door-frame width and does not automatically define the final height. Production follows the confirmed usable glass area and the proportions of the fixed artwork.
Measure the glass panel
Measure only the clear glass area. Exclude frames, handles, locks, hinges, seals, silicone, sensors, bevels, existing film and legally required safety markings. Confirm whether the decal will be viewed from one side or both sides and whether it must avoid any moving door edge.
Privacy expectations
The frosted vinyl diffuses the view through the covered area while allowing light to pass. Privacy varies with coverage, lighting, viewing distance and objects behind the glass. Silhouettes, movement and strong light sources can remain visible. The decal is not blackout film, one-way mirror film, security film, safety glazing or a replacement for mandatory glass manifestations.
Glass compatibility
Apply only to clean, dry, smooth and stable compatible glass. Coated, tinted, laminated, heated, textured, cracked or specialist glass can require approval from the glass manufacturer or installer. Constant water exposure, exterior weather, high heat and aggressive cleaning can affect adhesion and service life. Test a discreet area when compatibility is uncertain.
Application
- Clean the usable glass using a residue-free method and let it dry completely.
- Mark the final top edge, centre line and design orientation.
- Dry-position the complete decal before exposing the adhesive.
- Peel back a small section of liner and apply gradually, smoothing outward without stretching the vinyl.
- Press the topographic-line details and all edges firmly.
- Inspect the result from both sides of the glass where applicable.
What is included
One custom-cut frosted-effect topographic glass decal in the selected material and confirmed dimensions, plus application instructions. The glass door, frame, professional installation, tools and cleaning products are not included.
Care and removal
Clean gently with a soft cloth and mild non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid blades, solvents, steam and repeated scrubbing at fine lines or edges. For removal, lift an edge and pull slowly at a low angle. Adhesive residue or a visible difference in the glass surface can occur; residue-free removal cannot be guaranteed in every installation.
