Measure each pane separately

Measure the visible glass width and height inside the frame or seals.
Record handles, locks, hinges, sensors, glazing bars and safety bands.
Photograph the glass straight on and include a visible reference measurement.
For several panes, label every pane and record its dimensions independently.
State whether the graphic should cover the pane, form a band or remain a separate logo.
Confirm the side from which the design must be read and the side on which it will be installed.

Prepare artwork for production

Vector PDF, SVG, EPS or AI files are normally the best source for logos, lettering and cut paths. Printed photographs and illustrations need sufficient pixel dimensions at the final physical size. Do not use a screenshot or small web logo when an original production file is available.

The customer must have permission to reproduce submitted logos, photographs, fonts and illustrations. Convert fonts to outlines when requested, or supply the licensed font if editing is required.

Confirm viewing and installation side

A graphic installed outside and read outside is prepared differently from one installed inside but read through the glass. Text or asymmetric logos may need mirrored artwork for second-surface installation. Confirm this in the proof rather than reversing the file during installation.

Review the production proof

Check the final width and height, quantity, artwork version, spelling, phone number, web address, colours, cut line, opacity, installation side, reading direction and division between panes. A screen proof confirms layout but does not guarantee an exact physical colour match. Request a sample when colour, privacy or glass compatibility is critical.

Plan privacy and visibility

Custom frosting, printed coverage and clear areas create different privacy levels. Test the expected result under daytime and nighttime lighting. Installation

Inspect the glass, seals and existing coatings.
Clean using the product-specific residue-free method.
Mark level reference lines and confirm the reading direction.
Use the required wet or dry application method.
Apply gradually and control joins, alignment and edges.
Allow the stated curing period before cleaning or opening the area to full use.

Large storefronts, elevated panes, complex multi-panel artwork and exterior installations can require professional installation.
